A fantastic stay!

My husband, 2 year-old daughter and I stayed for a week at The Coronado Apartments (unit 3) during the Christmas holidays. We really couldn't have made a better choice of places to stay. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and very quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. And having a washer/dryer in the apartment was fabulous. The beds were so comfortable. I actually found that, upon our return home, I missed the Coronado apartment bed and preferred it to my own! The location of the apartment was really convenient. Half Moon Bay (only a 5 minute drive away) had all the shopping we needed, as well as great restaurants. There were also yummy restaurants of all kinds within walking distance. And try the coffee at the hardware store! It's surprisingly great. The walking/running/biking trails in the area were some of the more beautiful I'd ever seen. My husband went running every morning along the ocean on a trail that picks up just a couple of minutes from the front door. We also made quite a few trips into San Francisco, and found the drive to be not only fast, but incredibly scenic. The owner was very helpful upon arrival and gave us a contact number in the event we needed anything during our stay. We will definitely stay there again, should we find ourselves back in the area.
Great Property...just what we needed!

We stayed in Apt. 1 during the last week in October, 2010. We needed to be near Half Moon Bay and have room enough for 3 adults and a 5 year old child. This place was prefect! The two bedrooms had ample sized beds that really fit our needs and every thing was clean and very comfortable. We were in walking distance to the beach and the harbor where great restaurants and bars were available for everything from lite lunch, to evening dining and even eventful night life! It’s close enough to the beach to enjoy daily strolls in the sand and close enough to San Francisco to where a 20 minute, and VERY scenic drive on HWY 1, took us eventually into the city. The place looked just like the photos in the web site, it was very well equipped ( even had a cork screw, coffee, coffee filters, and laundry detergent) and had cable and internet available for free. All the appliances were new, and the furniture in great condition. Beautiful kitchen to meet every need! My only complaint was the out door patio area......it is a shared space within the 5 apartments,,,but it's great if you like meeting new people. Super fun and very satisfied! Quiet, peacefull, and beautiful!

We recently stayed at this property for our extended weekend family vacation. The place delivers what was promised in the advertisement. It is clean, has cozy king size bed, plenty of towels. The rooms are good size. Kitchen is set up for cooking with all the new appliances. The ocean can be seen from the porch and can be reached after a seven minute walk. Location is close to nice restaurants. Our family greatly enjoyed The Brewery Co. with extensive menu and nice view of marina. The kids enjoyed Moss beach while searching for unique sea shells and exploring wild life. This was a great place to stay during famous Pumpkin Festival. While being just four miles away from the festivities, the town was not really affected by the traffic.

Enjoy Your Coastal Stay

My wife and I had a wonderfully delicious 5 week stay in this apartment during fall 2010. We chose this unit from among many others based on the description and pictures and upon arrival we discovered exactly, if not more than expected. Everything is certainly clean and comfortable. The owner, was helpful at arrival and if needed is more than accessible during your stay. The street is very quiet; parking your car is so easy. From this unit you can have your breakfast and at the same time enjoy a view on the early morning surfers walking to the ocean looking for waves or bikers peddling along Cabrillo Highway, just two blocks away. This part of the coast is appreciated for great beaches, a delicious mixture of chilly air and hot sunshine (some fog too) and the waves. Nearby (and within walking distance) are some popular and famous seafood restaurants and a local brewpub. Take a stroll along the pier of Pillar Point Harbor (Half Moon Bay) and you can even purchase freshly caught fish direct from the returning boats. San Francisco and the Bay, a local farmers market at Rockaway Beach are all just a short drive and we highly recommend walks along the Skyline trails.

Our four night visit to Half Moon Bay for our Ocean Fix was Perfect. We've visited several times before and have enjoyed each one of your separate apartments. They are all well appointed, nicely decorated, very clean and the close location to the Jetty and Harbor is Just Perfect. We enjoy walking to the Beach and eating at the local Restaurants, Sam’s Chowder House and the Miramar Beach Inn...what Beautiful Views!! Thank you again for meeting us at the Apartment with the keys and your recommendations to the Locals favorite Spots!! Can't wait till our next visit. Lynne & Tom Lake Tahoe

Delightful and comfortable stay in #3 with view of the ocean and only two blocks walk to the beach and ocean path. Everything was clean and comfortable and the owner very responsive and helpful. Small downside: the walls are a bit "thin", but overall, the stay was wonderful and we’ll certainly come back..

A great relaxing week for us

After a hard time at language school we really could relax in this beautiful area from Half Moon Bay. I never expected this kind of nature so near by to S.F, with very good restaurants and a nice village-center with a lot of possibilities for shopping. And the apartment supported this feeling of wellbeing. It was comfortable with everything we need, clean and well-maintained, and to sit outside of the entrance-door in the afternoon-sun. The photos above give you a real impression of the appearance and atmosphere. It was not far from the beach and a nice restaurant (Sam's) with good seafood, which we really enjoyed. We rent bikes and had a wonderful time along the ocean on the mile long pathway. The owner is very nice and helpful with support. We will recommend it to friends and family and I hope some day we have time to come back.

Not a Palace, but fine accommodations we thought much better than any local motel or B&B.

The apartment is in a great location along the coast below the base of La Grenada highland. Within 1/2 mile of all our favorite Princeton spots and walks along the coast from Princeton to Half Moon Bay. The location is on a quiet street only yards from the Post Office and a general store. Inside and out, the accommodation brought us back with pleasure to "the old days " on Coast Side. We really enjoyed the homey, non-tourist feeling of the flat with lots of space and a fully functioning kitchen (that saved us a lot on our food expenses during our two week stay).. Not fancy, but everything was clean and fresh. The beds were grand and very comfortable. My wife is handicapped and the flat worked very well for her. We are planning to book again and to stay longer on our next trip. The monthly charge is a really good deal. The owner was very helpful and has a laid back style that we prefer. Our neighbors were friendly quiet folk. Parking is not a problem. Gibraltar and Barbara's Fish Trap are nearby favorites of ours for eating.

It's not deluxe, which I'm grateful for, but it's completely comfortable. Just enough room, a useful kitchen, an amazing cleaning staff. Not much view, but that's a block away. Run by a distinctly nice guy, a rare quality in my experience of landlords. Recommended to all but the entitled, who'll "need" a hot tub and morning massage with room service.

Excellent Stay
Guest: Fred & Jean (Park City, UT)
Date of Stay: March 14
Our stay at one of the units for the month of March was terrific. Everything posted on this website was accurate. Our unit was very clean, well furnished and very well managed. We will return when we visit San Francisco again, as the drive from Half Moon Bay is actually a delightful one. We loved the Hardware Store (one block walk from the unit) for coffee in the mornings, meeting Roy the store's manager and all the locals. Just a few blocks away (again, walking distance) were very nice seafood restaurants frequented by locals and many from the Bay Area. This is a place on earth you must see for yourself and stay for awhile.
